The thing is that being on the receiving end of envy and destructive actions by others (who then deny them or the significance these actions have had and the real obstacles they have created) can actually be really crushing. It can be very hard to rediscover your love of what you do and why you are doing it when you know that you are dealing with obstacles that really didn't need to be thrown your way and only were because someone else wouldn't face up to the reality of their own feelings. It can be hard to get your head and your heart around this and it takes time. A lot of time. Dealing with practical damage can also take a long time to overcome. If indeed, you manage to do so.

Thanks so much for sharing, Maria. I agree it can be challenging to overcome obstacles (whether the actions or others or our own inner self talk) to doing what you want to do - that is why so many people are not doing work that fulfills them. It is hard in this world. we were not socialized to do work that feeds our soul. I also know it is possible to do. I have seen so many people overcome some unbelievably challenging obstacles - and destructive people - in service of following what is alive in them. It can be a hard path at times - and harder for some, but I believe it is always possible.
