This blog explores the edges between that which is known and that which is emerging; multiple dimensions of creativity, emergence and meaning; and the practical - and impassioned! - applications of creative process within life, work, business and serving the whole. Posts are for both the head and the heart.
I see critical thinking as an essential part of the creative process, not as separate from it. In Divergence, you accept all idea and expand the creative playing field. In Convergence, you use critical thinking, among other things, to narrow and discern the wheat form the chafe. The problem is most people jump to critical thinking without ever taking an concept into going into divergent, generative thinking first.
